CAA member services in Australia and New Zealand have an exemplary reputation for ground breaking research in the pre-hospital sector at home and abroad.
Services undertake research with other partners including universities, in addition to their own projects.
The Australian Resuscitation Outcomes Consortium (Aus-ROC) is one example. As a Centre of Research Excellence funded by the National Health and Medical Research Council, Aus-ROC aims to boost research into out-of-hospital cardiac arrest, with a specific focus on improving survival rates and positives longer term outcomes. www.ausroc.org.au
