We are reaching out today to provide an update on the CAA2020 Congress in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
We have been closely monitoring the constantly evolving situation and it has been tricky to forecast given that the Congress is 5 months away. Our primary concern is for the safety, health and wellbeing of our delegates, staff, partners and others who contribute to this event, many of whom are already working on the frontline in our health systems around Australasia.
The Council of Ambulance Authorities does not believe it would be feasible to proceed as we had planned, therefore we have made the decision to postpone the Congress.
The CAA Congress and the events that go with it is one of our highlights of the year and a lot of disappointment comes with this postponement notice. Rest assured though, that we will utilise this extra time to bring even more value to the event. This means more sponsors, further innovation and a program packed full of informative and cutting-edge content.
We’ve spent the past few days locking in new dates and can now announce the next CAA Congress will be held at Sydney ICC on Thursday, July 15 th – Saturday, July 17 th 2021.
In the midst of chaos, we have seen an incredible sense of camaraderie and strength in the health sector through this challenging time. We look forward to meeting together in the coming year to hear your stories, learn and share with each other.
